シルクロードの果て、黄色の国
私の家には、立派な神棚とお仏壇があります。
親父が毎日、手を合わせているのを子供の頃から見ていました。
そのためか、神様と仏様のお手の合わせ方が違うことに気が付きませんでした。
また、一時お参りするのではなく、神棚をお参りしたら、朝食のお茶碗を揃えたら
お仏壇のご先祖にお参りをし、菩薩、如来様、明王にご挨拶をしていました。
昔から、家にある神棚とお仏壇に黄色い風呂敷がありました。
仏様の神様のところには、黄色い風呂敷を敷いてその上にお祭りしています。
不思議だったのが、親父がガンで意識が朦朧としていた時に、神棚のお参りの仕方。
お仏壇のお参りの仕方を朗々と話し始めたのです。
夜、眠らなかった親父を寝られるように、毎日仕事が終わった時に病院によって見舞いを
していた時でした。
今日、17年目になり、17回忌を迎えましたが、私が代わってお参りをし続けて17年となりました。
意識朦朧と話した内容は神様とは、仏様とは仲良くお互いを助け合った時代があった。
しかし、それぞれの居場所は区別されていて、一緒にお参りをしてはならない。
必ず、神様を先にお参りをして、間に人の作業を入れてから、お仏壇のご先祖様に昨日あったことを
伝えなさい。
と、朗々と話しました。
それから三日後に昏睡になりそのまま、ご先祖様のところに行きました。
神様。
仏様。
私には区別なく、家族のように家にいて、留守にするとき、仕事に行く時
ご挨拶をしてからでかけます。
17年あっという間でした。
私には、宗教という概念が無いようです。
どちらかというと家族です。
いなくてはならない方々。

寒いですね、こちらでは初雪となりました。
奈良では鹿は幸せなのですね。
鹿の駆除は狩猟や駆除、頭数調整なんてものもあり、全国で毎年、四十万頭近くになるそうです。
狩猟以外では一頭ごとに補助金が支給されます。その補助金目当てに駆除している人も多くいます。
鹿、イノシシ、サル、クマ、タヌキ、アナグマ、カラス、川鵜、サギ、ウサギ、などなど全て駆除の対象です。なんか野生動物たちには住みにくい世の中になりました。
日本では人と野生動物との共存なんて夢のまた夢。
人に邪魔な命を奪いずぎている気がしてなりません。
各種の統計には反映されていないかも知れませんが、大昔から人の友であり家族であった犬や猫たちの命を平気で奪う人も多くいます。
もう少し、命に対して寛容であっても良いのではないか、このような現実となった原因を考えてみてもよいのではとも思います。
